Broadway Cottages Terms And Conditions Of Booking

Payment.
A deposit of 30% of the full rental price is required, the balance must be paid six weeks prior to the start date of the holiday. If the start date of the holiday is less than six weeks away then the full rental amount should be paid. When the balance of the rental is received travel directions and key arrangements will be forwarded.

Method of Payment.
Payment can be made by cheque, internet bank transfer or credit/debit card through Paypal . Overseas bank transfer fees will be charged to the holidaymaker (normally an additional £20). Our bank account details will be forwarded on request. A refundable damages deposit may be required for larger groups and will be forfeited if any furniture, carpets etc are damaged. The deposit will be refunded in full immediately after changeover of the cottage if no damage has occurred.

Cancellation.
If a booking is cancelled more than six weeks prior to the start date of the holiday every effort will be made to re-let the cottage and if successful your deposit will be refunded. If we cannot re-let the cottage the deposit will be forfeited and you may be able to claim on your holiday cancellation insurance.
If you cancel your booking less than six weeks prior to the holiday the full rental cost will be forfeited.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ARRANGE ADEQUATE HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE.

Period of Hire.
Your cottage will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Non-availability of Property.
If the cottage is not available due to unforeseen circumstances, for example fire or flood, every effort will be made to offer a suitable alternative cottage. If this is not possible all monies will be refunded and no further liability accepted.

Maintenance and repairs.
Should any major maintenance works be required during your stay ie gas central heating, electrical or plumbing failure, repairs will be carried out within a reasonable period(24 hours where possible). Where this isn’t possible an alternative cottage will be offered if available, if not available a pro-rata refund of monies paid will apply. Access to the cottage should be allowed for routine maintenance subject to prior notice will be given.

The Holidaymaker agrees to the following:
*The number of occupants should not exceed that agreed at the time of booking. *The cottage should be left in a clean and tidy condition.
*All bed linen, electricity and reasonable heating costs are included.
*Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
*Sorry pets are not allowed in the cottage

In the rare event that a complaint is made, this should be raised during your stay by contacting the owners to enable them to resolve any problems immediately. Under no circumstances can a complaint be investigated after your holiday has finished without allowing the owners the opportunity to deal with any issues during your stay.
